The error "Default role required" means you haven't selected a TTS voice role in the dubbing section.

Solution:

  1. Go back to the main interface.
  2. In the Voice Synthesis / Dubbing area, first choose the Target Language (e.g., English, Chinese).
  3. Then, from the Voice Role dropdown menu, select a specific voice (e.g., a name like "Xiaoxiao" or "clone" for voice cloning).

If you still see this error, make sure the target language is correctly set before selecting the role — the role list is language-dependent.
