The "Voice preview unsupported" error typically occurs when the selected TTS channel does not support live preview, or when essential configurations (API key, network proxy) are missing.
Solutions:
- Switch to a supported channel – Edge-TTS (free, no key required) supports preview for most languages. Select it from the dropdown and try again.
- Check network/proxy – If you are in mainland China and using services like Google/OpenAI/Gemini, ensure a valid proxy is set in
菜单 → 工具 → 高级选项 → 通用设置 → 网络代理 (e.g. http://127.0.0.1:7890). - Verify API key configuration – For paid channels (e.g. OpenAI TTS, Azure TTS), go to
菜单 → TTS设置 and make sure the corresponding API key and endpoint are correctly filled. - Run the full task instead – Preview might not be available for some local TTS models (e.g. VITS, Piper). You can safely ignore the preview and proceed with the actual translation/dubbing task – the final output will work.
If the problem persists, please locate the latest log file in logs/ folder inside the software directory and share the last 30 lines of error messages.
