"Video required" error typically appears when you click "Start" without selecting a video or audio file in the main translation panel.
Solution:
- Click the "Translate video or audio" button in the first row of the main interface.
- In the file dialog, select one or more video/audio files (supported formats: mp4, mov, avi, mkv, etc., or mp3, wav, etc.).
- After selection, the file path should show in the text box. Then click "Start".
If the file is selected but the error persists, the file may be corrupted or the format not detected. Try re-encoding to standard H.264/MP4 or use the "Batch speech to text" function to test the file first.
If the issue continues, please provide the latest log from D:/pyVideoTrans/logs/ (bottom ~30 lines) and the exact step where the error occurs.
