#6223 Video file selection required

This error means the translation task was started without a valid input video/audio file being selected in the main interface.

Solution

1. In the "翻译视频" (Translate Video) main window, click the "选择视频或视频" button and select at least one video or audio file (hold Ctrl to choose multiple).
2. If you intend to batch process a folder, check the "文件夹" checkbox and then select a folder containing supported files (mp4/mov/avi/mkv/webm/mpeg/ogg/mts/ts/wmv/flv for video; wav/mp3/m4a/flac/aac/wma/ogg for audio).
3. Do not click "开始" (Start) before selecting an input file — the file path field must not be empty.

4. If the file picker does not open at all, try:

   • Running sp.exe as Administrator.
   • Moving the software to a simple English path (e.g. D:\pyVideoTrans), and avoid paths with special characters or spaces.
   • Temporarily disabling antivirus/Windows Defender, which may block the file dialog.

If the issue persists after selecting a valid file, please provide the latest log file from the logs/ folder (copy the bottom ~30 lines of error output) so we can analyze further.
