#6898 Video file selection required

This error occurs because no video or audio file was selected before starting the translation task — it's a required field.

Solutions:

1. Click the "选择音频或视频" (Select Audio/Video) button at the top-left of the main interface to select your video file.
2. Ensure the selected file is one of the supported formats: mp4, mkv, avi, mov, wav, mp3, etc.

3. If you clicked the button but no file dialog appeared, or the file cannot be added:

   • Check that the file actually exists and is not corrupted.
   • Move the file to a short, simple path with only English letters/numbers (e.g., D:/videos/test.mp4). Avoid paths with Chinese characters, spaces, or special symbols.
   • If it's a network drive or removable drive, copy the file to a local disk first.

If you still see this error after selecting a valid file, please provide the latest log from the logs/ folder in your software directory (copy the last ~30 lines of the most recent error log) so we can investigate further.
