#7161 Selecting LLM to correct errors, using the DeepSeek channel, but the key SK was not entered.

The LLM Correction feature (which replaced LLM Re-segmentation in v4.12) requires a valid API Key for the selected AI channel. Since DeepSeek is the default channel and no SK was entered, the correction step cannot authenticate and fails.

Solution:

1. Get a DeepSeek API key:

   • Go to https://platform.deepseek.com/
   • Log in, top up (custom amount allowed, e.g. 1 CNY), and create an API key.

2. Enter the key in the software:

   • Menu → Translation Settings → DeepSeek
   • Paste your API key into the DeepSeek key field and save.

3. (Optional) Change the LLM Correction channel if you prefer another provider:

   • Menu → Tools/Options → Advanced Options → Common
   • Find LLM Correction errors: AI provider for LLM Correction errors
   • Switch to a channel you have already configured (e.g. OpenAI, Gemini, Zhipu AI), then fill in that channel's key in Translation Settings.

4. Alternatively, disable the LLM Correction step if you don't want to use an AI provider:

   • Menu → Tools/Options → Advanced Options → Common
   • Set the LLM Correction AI channel to a configured provider, or leave the correction step out by not relying on it — note that without it, the recognized subtitles will keep typos and missing punctuation.
