#7249 Error during subtitle translation stage [Google Translate (Free)] 429 Client Error: Too Many Requests for url: https://w

This is caused by Google's free translation endpoint rate-limiting your IP (HTTP 429 "Too Many Requests"). Google's free API limits how many requests can be sent in a short period, and once you exceed that, it returns a "sorry" captcha page instead of a translation.

Two main causes:

1. Requests are being sent too frequently, triggering Google's rate limit.
2. Your proxy/VPN IP is "dirty" (flagged by Google as abnormal traffic).

Solutions (1 → 3, then fallback):

1. Lower the request frequency: go to Menu → Tools/Options → Advanced Options → Subtitle Translation, and set Pause (s) after each translation request to a larger value (e.g. 5–10 seconds).
2. Set Batch size (lines) for traditional translation to 1 (this reduces the payload per request and makes failures less likely).
3. Switch to a cleaner proxy/VPN node, or disable the proxy. Note that Google Translate in mainland China requires a working VPN/proxy. Once selecting Google and it fails, the software will automatically retry with Microsoft Translate.
4. Better long-term fix: switch your translation channel from Google Translate (Free) to an AI model such as DeepSeek, which is not subject to this kind of free-API throttling and gives higher translation quality. Get an API key at https://platform.deepseek.com/, enter it in Menu → Translation Settings → DeepSeek key, then select Deepseek in the translation channel dropdown.
5. Also note: your target language is vi (Vietnamese), which is a common language and works fine with any channel, so switching channels is safe.
