The software is installed in a path containing Cyrillic characters and a space (D:/Документы/Редко нужные файлы/Translator). pyVideoTrans requires the install path to contain only English letters and digits, no spaces, no non-ASCII characters (Cyrillic, Chinese, emoji, etc.). Such paths cause FFmpeg command parsing failures, module load errors, and various unpredictable crashes.

Solution:

1. Close pyVideoTrans completely.
2. Move (do not copy-run in place) the whole Translator folder to a simple ASCII path, for example D:\pyVideoTrans.
3. Ensure the path contains no space and no Cyrillic/Chinese characters — recommended form: D:\pyVideoTrans.
4. Launch sp.exe from the new location.
5. Also ensure your input video/audio files are placed in simple ASCII paths with simple ASCII filenames (e.g. D:\videos\001.mp4). Non-ASCII or over-long paths cause ffprobe exec error / ffmpeg failures.
6. Delete the old tmp/ folder contents if any leftover cache exists, then retry.

Note: If you are on the 260MB patch package only (not the 2.7GB full package), download and extract the full package instead — the patch package alone cannot run.

If the problem persists after moving to an ASCII path, please provide the last ~30 lines of the newest log file in the software's logs/ folder for analysis.
