The core cause: OpenRouter rejects the request because the model ID stealth/space-bunny-alpha is invalid.

Note that in the error payload the model value is ' stealth/space-bunny-alpha' — there is a leading space before stealth.

An invalid/extra-space model ID is exactly what triggers the 400 error.

The model name passed to OpenRouter must match an existing model ID exactly.

Solutions:

  1. Open the OpenRouter settings window in the software and clear the model field, then re-enter the correct model ID with no leading/trailing spaces, e.g.

    stealth/space-bunny-alpha.
  2. Verify the model ID is actually available on OpenRouter: log in to
https://openrouter.ai and check the exact model slug in the Models list (copy it directly, avoid typing manually).
  3. If that model does not exist / is not accessible on your account, replace it with another valid OpenRouter model ID.
  4. Save the setting and re-run the translation test.

Note: Third-party API (OpenRouter) requires your own account/key; model availability and pricing are determined by OpenRouter, not by pyVideoTrans.

If the problem persists after using the exact model slug, please provide the latest log (bottom ~30 lines) from the logs/ folder in the software directory.
