Your DeepSeek API account has no remaining balance.

The error code 402 - Insufficient Balance returned by https://api.deepseek.com/v1/ means the API key is valid but the account has run out of credits (or was never topped up).

Solution:

  1. Log in to the DeepSeek platform at https://platform.deepseek.com/ and check your balance on the Usage/Billing page.
  2. Top up your account (custom amounts as low as 1 CNY are allowed).
  3. Verify the API key you pasted into Menu -> Translate Settings -> DeepSeek belongs to the same account you topped up.
  4. Re-run the task.

If it still fails, delete tmp/translate_cache/ to clear cached results before retrying.

Alternative if you do not want to pay:

  • Switch the translation channel to Google(免费) (needs a VPN in mainland China) or Microsoft(免费).
  • Or use the fully offline M2M100(内置) local model (the model will be downloaded on first use to 软件目录/models/m2m100_12b).

Note: your software version is v4.08, which is quite old.

Upgrading to v4.14 is recommended, because in v4.13+ Google translation failure (e.g.

429) now automatically falls back to Microsoft translation.
