"Video file selection required" means you clicked Start without selecting any input file.
pyVideoTrans cannot begin any task until at least one audio/video file (or a folder) is chosen.
Steps to fix:
Click the Select Video/Audio button at the top-left of the main window.
In the file dialog, pick one or more supported files (mp4/mkv/avi/mov/wav/mp3...).
Hold Ctrl to multi-select.
If you want to process an entire directory, check the Folder box instead and choose the folder.
Confirm the filename now appears in the input field, then click Start.
Additional checks:
If a file was selected but the field still shows empty, your file path likely contains special symbols or non-English characters.
Move/rename the file to a simple path such as D:/pyVideoTrans/test.mp4 and reselect.
Do not run from inside the compressed archive.
Your sp.exe is located at C:/Users/ADMIN/Downloads/Compressed/win-pyvideotrans-v4.14, i.e.
still inside a Compressed folder — extract the whole package to a shallow, pure-English path like D:/pyVideoTrans and run sp.exe from there, otherwise file dialogs may fail to return a valid selection.
Also make sure the Clear Output option is not the only thing checked; it does not select a video.
