#7867 Video file selection required

The error "Video file selection required" appears when the software did not receive a valid video file path. This is not a bug — it means the input file was not actually registered by the program before starting.

Please check the following:

1. Path contains non-English characters or special symbols
   Your root_dir is C:/Users/Admin/Downloads. If the video file itself is inside a folder with Chinese characters, spaces, or symbols, the file may fail to register. Move the video to a simple English-only path such as D:/videos/test.mp4 and re-select it.
2. Do not run inside C:/Program Files or C:/Windows
   The Downloads folder is generally fine, but avoid C:\Program Files. Recommended: extract the software to a clean path like D:\pyVideoTrans.

3. File was not properly selected

   • Click Select Video/Audio and pick the file again.
   • Make sure the file is a real video/audio (mp4/mkv/avi/mov/wav/mp3).
   • If a file is corrupted or has an unsupported codec, selection may silently fail.
4. 清理已生成 / folder mode mismatch
   If you checked Folder, you must select a folder, not a file. If you did not check Folder, you must select an actual file.

If none of the above solves it, please provide the bottom ~30 lines of the latest log file from the logs/ folder in the software installation directory for further analysis.
