The 404 returned by Ollama indicates that the model name qwen3.6 you filled in does not exist in the local Ollama instance. This is a model-name mismatch, not a pyVideoTrans problem.

Solution:

  1. Run ollama list in the command line to view models that have actually been pulled locally, and copy a model name on the list exactly as it appears (for example, qwen3:8b or qwen2.5:7b).
  2. If the list is empty or has no suitable model, pull one first, for example, ollama pull qwen3:8b, and wait for the download to complete.
  3. In Menu → Translation Settings → OpenAI-Compatible/Local LLM, replace the endpoint in the model field with the exact name that appears in ollama list (including the tag; do not add or omit colons at will).
  4. The API address must remain http://localhost:11434/v1 (do not use 0.0.0.0); the model name field must mean the same thing as the Ollama model name. If the error persists, replace it with the exact model name output by ollama list.
