Cause: at the moment you clicked Start Execution, the software's task list contained no valid video/audio path. It is either because no file was selected at all, or because the selected file could not be loaded into the list. That load failure is usually caused by an illegal path or file name, such as an overly long path, Chinese characters, spaces, emoji or special symbols, or by the file having been moved, renamed or deleted after it was selected.
Steps:
- Click
Select Video/Audio and select the file again. After the file appears in the list box on the main window, click Start Execution. - If you checked
Folder, make sure a valid folder has actually been selected. With Folder checked but no folder specified, this same error appears. - Check the path and the file name. Rename the video to a short name made up of only letters, digits and underscores (e.g.
video1.mp4) and move it to a shallow directory (e.g. D:/videos/), then select it again. - Your current software directory is
C:/Users/Pong/Downloads/win-pyvideotrans-v4.17-1027. If you are running it directly inside the archive, or from a deeply nested Downloads path, first extract it completely to a short pure-English path such as D:/pyVideoTrans and start sp.exe from there. - Use the
Clear Output option only when you want to reprocess the same video; do not use it just to clear this error. - If the file still cannot be loaded into the list, or the error persists after the above steps, the log is needed for further analysis. Provide the last 30 lines of the latest log in
C:/Users/Pong/Downloads/win-pyvideotrans-v4.17-1027/logs/.
