The root cause is that the software directory path contains non-English characters and a space: E:\برنامج دبلجة\win-pyvideotrans-v4.17-1028. PyTorch's DLL loader fails when the path contains non-ASCII characters, so cublas64_12.dll (and its dependencies) cannot be loaded, and the GPU detection thread throws WinError 126. This is not a missing-model or a channel problem.

Fix steps:

  1. Delete nothing yet — fully extract the whole archive to a short path with only English letters and digits, for example D:\pyvideotrans (do not use Arabic characters, spaces, or emoji anywhere in the path).
  2. Start sp.exe from the new location. If CUDA is not configured, leave CUDA Acceleration unchecked; recognition and dubbing will run on the CPU.
  3. If the error persists on the new pure-English path:

    • Install the Microsoft VC++ x64 runtime: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe, then restart the PC.
    • If you need GPU acceleration, install/update the NVIDIA driver, CUDA 12.8 and cuDNN 9.x (add cuDNN's bin and lib to the system Path).
  4. Another known trigger in the knowledge base for this class of DLL errors: a trimmed patch package instead of the full package — first-time use requires the ~2.7GB full package, not the ~260MB patch.
