This is the Edge-TTS 403 error: Microsoft changed the authentication logic of the free edge-tts interface, so the old version of the edge-tts library built into v4.15 can no longer complete the WebSocket handshake (WSServerHandshakeError: 403), and it is not a problem with your network or the text content.

Solutions (choose one):

Upgrade to v4.16 or later (recommended for the packaged build): Download the latest full package or patch package from https://pyvideotrans.com/downpackage, and overwrite the old files, especially sp.exe, the _internal folder, and the videotrans folder.
If you run from source: In the project directory, run uv add git+https://github.com/rany2/edge-tts.git to update edge-tts; if that fails, run uv remove edge-tts first and then run the update command again.
Temporary workaround: Switch the TTS channel to gTTS (Free) or another built-in/local TTS channel, and continue processing; after upgrading, switch back to Edge-TTS.

Note: The WilliamMultilingual(Male/AU) voice itself is valid; the error only occurs at the connection stage, so no need to change the voice.
