This is because the file you imported is a temporary file without an extension (C:/Users/v/AppData/Local/Temp/1108_hEOLdV), and it is located in the system Temp directory. FFmpeg/ffprobe cannot detect a valid video stream in it. Possible causes: the file is an incomplete download or temporary cache fragment, it is an audio-only file, or it has no extension name, so it cannot be parsed.

Solution:

  1. Do not drag files directly from a browser, player, or chat window; those operations only pass a temporary cache path (usually under C:/Users/.../AppData/Local/Temp/).
  2. First copy the original video to a simple path with only English letters and digits, for example D:/video/001.mp4, and make sure the extension is correct (mp4/mkv/avi/mov).
  3. Double-click the file to play it locally and confirm that the picture appears and the duration is normal; if it cannot be played or the picture never appears, the file itself is corrupted or has been downloaded incompletely, so re-download or re-export the original video.
  4. After confirming the file is intact, import this copied file into the software and run it again.
  5. If the file is indeed a fragment with no extension, you can try renaming it to add the .mp4 extension, then play and verify it; if it still reports no video stream, the file is invalid.

Also note: the current version is v4.16. If you drag files from a web page or a player, v4.18 fixed the handling of dropped file URLs and file names; you can consider upgrading.
