The "Video file selection required" prompt means that when you click Start, the video input box on the main interface is empty and no valid video path has been registered.
Handling steps:
- Click the Select Video/Audio button in the upper-left corner, select the file again in the file dialog, and confirm that the file name appears in the input box on the main interface; do not drag and drop the file into the input box to select it.
- If you checked Folder (batch-process the whole folder), you must also click the folder icon on the right and select a specific folder; if you only want to use a single file, clear the Folder checkbox.
- Check the file name: videos downloaded from YouTube/Bilibili often contain ultra-long names and emoji/special symbols, which can cause the path to fail to register or truncate. Rename the file to a short name such as
video1.mp4 and place it in a shallow directory such as D:/videos. - If the file has been selected but Start still reports this prompt, it is usually a path issue: make sure the full path contains no Chinese characters, spaces, emoji, or special symbols, and do not place the software or the video in
C:/Program Files, C:/Windows, or a deep directory. - After making the change, close the software and restart it, then select the file again.
If all of the above are confirmed and it still reports this prompt, provide the last 30 lines of the latest log file in the logs/ folder under the software installation directory.
